Celebrate the Day of the Dead with lots of music and food.
Join the candlelight procession as the dead are remembered. Homemade altars are on display and a giant piñata is broken open. Old Mesilla Plaza. (575) 524-3262 ext.116.
Dia de los Muertos Run - Las Cruces, New Mexico
Series dates: Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2023
Race times: 7:00AM
Race day packet pickup/registration: 5:30AM on race day, at the start line.
Early Start: YES! (Optional) 6:00 am, bring a flashlight. Late arrivals will need to wait until the 7:00 am start. Click HERE for details.
Time limit: None. We have a “no runner left behind” policy, and we happily stay until the final finisher crosses the line. Walkers are always welcome!
Pets/strollers: Pets are not allowed, for the safety and comfort of our runners/walkers; you’re welcome to bring a stroller if you have small children.
Food/aid stations: Due to Covid, our food selections will be limited. Please bring your water bottle (with a top) that we will refill upon request.
- Start location: La Llorona Park, Picacho Ave.

- Course: Fast, flat; paved, with a crushed gravel lane.
- Course is 1.1 miles out, then back. Six laps for half marathon, 12 laps for full marathon.
